Unravelling the Fabric of Fear is a free open collaboration publication which attempts to
condense an insightfully concise and holistic understanding of our most challenging psychosocial
phenomena. It does this in just sixteen (mostly easy to read) pages. The project is planned to be
converted to many media formats: animation/video series, audiobook, podcast, etc.
The Google Docs root folder can be found here.
The Causation Matrix is a highly unique 3D interactive formulaic mind map showing causal flow of human psychosocial behavior like you've never seen it before. Like a maths or chemistry equation, each mapped element is an absolutely necesarry requirement for any elements it flows into. The result is a mindblowing comprehensive visual web of social understanding.
This album is an anti-recidivism project. It is intended to send a message of unconditional compassion as a virtue (forgiveness) to the audience (and why it's needed), while providing a platform for ex-prisoners to find senses of participation, purpose, achievement, and voice in a world which tends to discourage them from all of these things. To discourage these things is to feed recidivism, perpetuating fear and social disconnect for all parties.
All the tracks on the album flow into each other in various ways (instrumental and lyrical transitions which tie the album together). The album is intended to be digested as a whole, however stand-alone versions of the tracks will eventually be produced (to suit radio airplay etc.) after we have included input and performance from the intended participants / production artists and the album is being marketed. The flow of the message/story of the album loosely follows the structure/path of 'The Hero's Journey', the story-telling structure which is subconsciously used in most popular stories/plays etc for thousands of years (even the story of Jesus in the Bible), and which most great story-tellers today (including Hollywood) know about and stick to. In this sense, each track can be considered a separate 'scene' of the one 'story'. The album will be released as a free and completely open source project which can be used and manipulated in any way by anyone (save for the individual terms and conditions of any sounds used which were sourced externally from the public domain).
Please give feedback and suggestions. If lyrics aren't clear enough to understand, I want to know. If something seems odd or really out of place, I want to know. If you have an inspirational suggestion, I want to know (email link at bottom of the page).
To download any of these files, right click (or long press if using a mobile device) and most browsers will have a 'save as' option or similar. Any tracks downloadable below are DRAFTS and will be modified or contributed to by other artists before final release, and may yet be modified for various reasons, (particularly ones with lower version numbers in their filename), including to accomodate seamless mix between tracks as new tracks are added.
